Terrible place since Jay and his family left I went in yesterday to the shop part, to get Gas and Electric , stood in the queue with my cards in my hand, just as it was my turn he beckoned the person behind me and served him, then a lady came up to the counter with her newspapers and he started serving her, I decided to walk out as I did he started yelling foul mouth abuse at me. I managed to keep my cool and left. I will not be returning.

Rude. No respect. Waste of time. Avoid if you dont want to ruin your day. There's an Asian guy with glasses and a wonky eye that works there who is the perfect example of how not to treat customers. Such a rude and arrogant human being. He makes his own bullsh*t rules every time I've been there and makes everything difficult. He's refused to take my parcels on 3 occasions- no paper work, so I went and got paper work. He then said it needs to be in a mail bag and sealed. So I got a mail bag. He then said the sizes are incorrect. I left and went to a different post office and the chap took my parcels, got me a mail bag and I was out within a couple of minutes stress free without asking any of the stupid questions I was asked by the die hard post office worker at hart road. Every time I've been there, some one has been arguing with him and they all have said the same thing. He's very rude and severely lacks any people skills and each person had stated that they would not be returning to that post office again. Get rid of him or throw him in the back to stack boxes to avoid customer interactions at all costs.

Terrible customer service. Went there with my friend to pick up her parcel and she was told she wouldn't be receiving it because she didn't have a QR code sent to her on her email even though she had the pick up code on her phone as well as ID. Another colleague turns up and starts shouting at us telling us "we're not giving you the parcel because we have to scan it etc". I then explained that we have a pick up code that you can type in to which the 1st colleague replies "it was too short"! The guy puts the code in anyway and it's accepted but then the 1st one is like "then you scan the barcode right and it didn't work" and he pauses, realises she made the mistake and instead of apologising for the inconvenience starts telling us to calm down and throws our package on the counter. Then I tell him that his colleague obviously made a mistake and he can't speak to so abruptly. We then walk off with it and he starts calling us every insult he could think of! I will never go there again and I wouldn't recommend it, it was so rude.

Don't use it for cash deposits. Stung to the tune of £270 last year. Never acknowledged their mistake and since I left it a little longer over a week when I realised that the amount typed in was incorrect, they would just shrug their shoulders saying that since their end of day was correct so there was very little I could do. I filed complaint with my bank, post office and the Ombundsman. No sign on money or refund. Stay clear.

Please save yourself the hassle and go to the post office on Princess Road if you would like to be treated like a normal human being/customer and not with contempt like the dirt off someone's shoe.

This particular post office have some dodgy set up to take payments. It came up as a query at my bank and the manager argued and flat out refused to accept that the way she had processed the payment had been a problem. She did not listen but spoke over me and told me it was my problem to sort with the bank. I spoke to the bank who told me that I was correct and the branch had been wrong to tell me they had not processed this way. I went in to let the manager know and she shouted at me. Avoid. Untrustworthy.

Good cosy. I like this place. For those annoyed that someone was served before them while they were not supposed to I say, the employee sitting behind the glass can't tell whose turn it is. My understanding and what I would do in similar situation I would tell the other client that it is my turn or that the Que ends "there". Otherwise the only inconvenience is if you want to buy envelopes for the post that you have to pay for it at the shops cashier not the post. So if you don't know that and you stand in the Que then grab an envelope, you could be asked to go pay at the shops cashier and might lose your order in the Que or could cause an awkward feeling to try and get back to the window.
