New owners!! One man in particular in the post office as terrible customer service. Totally unhelpful and disrespectful. Not a patch on the previous owners. I shall avoid this post office from now on which is a shame as it's my local.

Thi is my local PO so I use it quite often, for money exchange for holidays, returning online purchases and buying stamps and cards. The staff are all as nice and helpful as can be, although sometimes they can spend too long doing a simple task because of talking to a customer too much, hence queues move quite slowly, especially on a Monday, pension and/or benefit day I presume? But all in all a clean shop with lovely staff!

AVOID! I queued for 15 minutes with no-one in front of me. 2 staff members were serving customers while 2 were organising packages. The queue grew to 8 people and yet they did nothing. Eventually after several people had walked off I asked one woman who wasn’t serving customers how long it’d be and she just said “I dunno”. I then left and I won’t visit this branch again.

It's a good size and there are a few counters serving customers. There's a queue in there sometimes but that tends to be in the morning. It's a small shop as well and they sell greeting cards, stationery and other random items. There's a tobacconist counter as well. The staff are friendly and approachable and it's clean. It's just off the main Street and easy to find.

The staff at Egerton Crescent are a really nice set of people. They are always helpful and happy to answer queries regarding prices. The shop itself is like an Aladdins cave of books, puzzles, education kits and stationary as standard. You should pay them a visit.

terrible post office, went in with a irish 20 pound note, they said they cant change it for me as i have to buy something , i said well can i buy something on card and then change the note ? they said no, so i had to buy a sweet worth 1 penny, he then gave me my change, a 10 pound a 5 pound and 4.99 in change, i added a penny onto it and asked if he could give me a 5 note and he did, what was the point in buying that thing for a penny then if he was just going to change my coins for me anyway ? bad place, people need to do abit of basic learning in there

Roday I found myself two absolutely anpolite and rude men. They absolutely did not help me find a package from Italy that has been in storage for 4 days. They laughed at my request and it was evident that at my request they had no intention of looking for the package. I find it really unacceptable that the staff, to whom the people pay their salaries with their own taxes, are so unprofessional and rude. Do I have to think that she was discriminated against because I am a woman by 2 Arab men ??? It was disgusting
