Would give 0 star if I could. Walked in receive money through MoneyGram. After 10 min they had system crash, staff made me feel like it was my fault. Tells me to call international MoneyGram service and deal with it my self! When I called to international costumer service they said they can't see anything wrong. I even past my phone to the post office stuff. Eventually costumer service guy asked me to go to the difference MoneyGram service which was in Tesco! Still can't believe how rude post office 'lady' was!!! Waisted whole 40min! Not happy at all!!!

The worst post office ive ever been to .. work away from home drove 1.5 hours to post office to get my parcle which was tracked to there to be to told no its not there and the guy didnt even look hard... after a number of phone calls to difrent collection offices the girl confirmed it was 100% droped into the post office .. i drove back he said no its not straight away without looking .. he just remembered me ... when i made him go trough every parcle what do ya know mine was there .(only about 7 altogether ) Just 2 lazy to look . If you dont want to run a post office correct why bother !!! Hire staff that know what there doing and maybe go to spec Savers

My son went into this apology for a 'post office's which is 50% a low grade convenience store. He was wanting to collect Amazon deliveries for me which had been addressed to and forwarded from the now closed (proper) Post Office in Morningside. This replacement 'Post Office' had behind their counter SEVEN newlly arrived packages addressed to me, and the (asian) manager REFUSED to hand any/all of them over to my son saying that they were not properly addressed. The address label, printed by Amazon and wth the Amazon name and logo on it, had my name on it, and the old Morningside Post Office name and address on the label. (I had discovered that the old Post Office had closed about 1-2 hours after sending my order(s) to Amazon, then phoned Amazon customer service in the Phillpines to get them to redirect my orders to the new Morningside Post Office. Consequently delivery companies either rerouted my orders to the new Post Office, or else arrived at the closed Post Office, saw the notice on the door with the address of the new Post Office, and took my orders there, 5-7 minutes away. No big deal. However neither Amazon customer services or I had reckoned on the 100% unhelpful, obstructive attitude of the manager of the new Post Office in refusing to hand over the 7 packages addressed to me at the closed Post Office. He said he is going to have all seven of the packages collected and returned to the senders, one of the senders being Amazon in Luxembourg ! This character surely has to get the dubious award of Most Unhelpful And Obstructive Post Office Employee in Britain; I would give the Post Office ZERO out of 10 for helpfulness, and 10 out of 10 for unhelpfulness. If this character does the same thing with all 29 items on my 18 orders, it will take 6 to 8 weeks before I can track on my credit card statements which items have been refunded or not, and weeks to find out what has happened to missing items ... before I can start reordering my original 'basket' of Amazon items... thanks to this truly awful new Morningside Post Office and in particular it's exceptionally unhelpful and intransigent manager.

Long queues, poor layout and one member of staff is particularly rude. Seems less like a post office and more like a half empty corner shop. Can't believe they shut the main post office in Morningside for this one

Owner has been rude to me multiple times for simply trying to send Royal Mail pre paid packages. The most recent time he told me that he gets no money for pre paid international packages and they are a “pain in the backside” for them. This is a Royal Mail post office and I was sending labels that I paid Royal Mail for - it’s their duty to scan and send these parcels for me. The women that work here are friendly and helpful but the man seems to make people feel bad for trying to use his services. Will be going elsewhere in future.

A nice post office to cover all essential services. There is an enormous amount of cards you can buy and some stationary. They have a photo booth for a quick passport photo, but I haven't seen anyone use it. I gave 4 stars because it is relatively small and can have a reasonable queue at peak times. Otherwise, I would recommend this post office for most of your usual needs. Note that they don't accept drop offs for other companies such as UPS.
