Served by the most helpful lady on Saturday 6th may. Didn't catch her name but she was Asian, quite young, and wore a headscarf. She was so helpful and took the time to explain various processes to me and to help me understand how I could save money on my posting by splitting my parcel in to two smaller boxes. She did this and didn't make me feel stupid for asking a million silly questions. Didn't feel rushed at all as you normally do in a post office and she explained everything so clearly and really went above and beyond to ensure value for money. In previous experience, post office staff are really grumpy when you don't know what service you want and have to explain to you the prices for second class, second class signed, first class, first class tracked, etc - not that case with this employee!!

Having used this Post Office for a few months, the 'service' slowly deteriorated as the staff became even less helpful and enthusiastic with the more we spent for postal services (strange I know...). Very unwelcoming staff, apart from Peter, who has received praise in other reviews, and rightly so. There seems to be a lack of care with no sense of urgency as the post office is always overcrowded with customers, coupled with a shortage of staff available to deal with the volume of people. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone looking to post things, either efficiently, or correctly.

Terrible service from a woman named Carol. Extremely rude and wouldn't answer simple questions nor give any reasons why she gave the customer service she did. She scribbled over my passport form for no reason and didn't know how to do her job. Never been spoken to as rudely as her ever in retail. Worst customer experience ever.

Feel like they are always trying to charge you more to send your mail. For example classing packages bigger than they are, and trying to get away with it. Check the prices online before you go in, and push them to measure items, or they will by default try and sell you a more expensive postal service.

Rip-off, atrocious! Posted a letter with the same content to a similar address at the post office in the town centre where I was charged half the price for posting than I was charged in The Markets Post Office. The staff in The Markets Post Office insisted it was a small parcel and when she 'tested' the letter against the frames-measure she clearly twisted it so that the outcome would be for her to charge the higher amount. Has the Post Office come to this: ripping off customers?
