Always expect a queue with very few staff serving. It only takes one customer with a large request and the queue gets longer and longer and no extra staff come out to serve.

Friendly staff, but simply not enough of them. Often queued outside and down the road to do a simple task like drop off a parcel or pay in money. Not unusual to have a 20 - 30 minute wait to be served.

Have had to visit twice this week. The queue has been outside along the street as far as the adjacent premises. There are never any more than 2 staff serving. The staff are always polite and helpful but having to queue for 25 minutes is not acceptable. Today, on one of the busiest few days of the year, there was only one member of staff serving!! This is nothing to do with covid, it had been like this for years. The Post Office badly needs to do something about its staffing levels at this branch.

1/ 5

After queuing for 30 minutes was told that they couldn't print my returns label, I would have to go to the library or somewhere else to print it off. Despite being told on the post office website to go get the label printed at my local post office. And knowing that this is a basic service that all post offices provide. After holding up the dozen people waiting behind me, was finally told "only if you have a QR code", which I pointed to, this was the first thing I showed the staff member and had been sitting on my phone screen the entire time. Then they got snippy and told me I should have showed them that first. Really ridiculous that I had to have an argument and be told to go elsewhere before the staff member would do their job. Although obviously they are understaffed, underpaid and overworked. Is it too much to ask that the post office hires enough staff and trains them in what they're supposed to do? It's not like we have a shortage of people looking for work.
