While I don't have an issue with the Surgery I do have an issue with the receptionist who isn't too helpful at all. on one occasion Tthe doctor asked me to arrange an appointment for 3 weeks as a review of the drugs i was taking so I went to the receptionist and asked nicely only to be told firmly "No, we don't have any appointment" I asked if I could book another later date and was met swiftly with the same answer, I called back when I got home and managed to get an appointment arranged without issue. Reading the reviews I see that it isn't just be with the issue. I wouldn't be writing this review if I didn't think it would help.

Booked an appointment and had to wait 3 weeks. Later, I had to cancel the appointment due to work commitments and phoned 8 times to cancel and no answer, so sent a reply through their text service. On the day of the appointment an hour after the allocated time I received a call from them telling me I missed the appointment. Explained to them I followed their cancel procedure but they would not have it. So said I would come up and show them my phone records and text. The receptionist didn't sound happy. Also not seen the same doctor twice for ages. Come back Dr Dickson...

I went to get vaccines before a trip abroad, very efficient and got an appointment quickly. However, the reception service is a real let down. I went to obtain free student condoms (a service offered by all GPs under the NHS) and she stated that they haven't been doing this for years despite the same receptionist giving them to me a few months ago. My friends have had similar problems with the lady claiming to not have certain forms, maybe this is just a problem with this one receptionist but she seems to be the main receptionist when I go. I would have thought they would train the staff better.

As the Surgery has been closed since we became patients our experience has not been what we expected. I don't like e-consults. While Doctors are answering these they could be seeing patients. It is difficult to get anyone to speak to on the phone without having to wait a considerable time. I appreciate the difficulties caused by Covid but thought things were getting back to as normal as they can. Surely this should include Doctors returning to the surgeries.

I think they've repented; I've been getting really good service recently. Halleluja! A man ( and a woman, and chairs and cabbages .. ) can change.
