If I could give minus stars then I would. I entertained nearly two months of back and forth with PPW / Jon on my car which was in for Hood, front fenders, doors, roof and sill covers repaint. I went to PPW because they are apparently an Authorised Audi Body shop and reassuringly a lot more expensive than ANY of the competitors in Sussex. After going cheap before I didn't want any hassle with this job but in the end it turned into a far worse and stressful experience I though possible. This company can probably just about do decent spot repairs and new panel accident repair but anything more than that they completely fail. I attempted pick up of the car 4/5 TIMES and the quality was beyond shocking not to mention a broken sunroof and due to bad re-assembly and broken hood latch cable which meant when driving on the motorway the hood popped up into safety catch position while driving 70 mph, very fun. I gave Jon, the manager, the benefit of the doubt every single time as he comes across as a gentlemen and was seemingly embarrassed and apologetic about the terrible work done. Wer'e not just talking a few swirl marks of uneven paint here. Think, dinks and dents left in, crazy orange peel, HEAVY contamination in clear coat, fish eyes galore, deep scratches, missed paint in wheel arches, blemishes, primer over spray on trim, scurry marks ALL OVER from machine polisher, drips, un-fixed previous damage etc etc. I couldn't believe how bad it was on the 1st time I picked it up. After that I brought it back 4 or 5 more time and every time a few things were sorted BUT new problems added by bad polishing e.g scratches etc. The final time I picked it up I couldn't even bare looking at it properly anymore as it was getting very stressful and I didn't want to deal with it anymore. Me and my mechanic put the car on the ramp yesterday and just couldn't believe our eyes about how badly it is finished, as if it was done by a blind man with ZERO grasp of flattening or polishing, I can't stress how bad it is, you have to see it to believe it. This is EVERY panel on the car other than the roof which miraculously looks ok. Ive now given up with them and the car will be finished properly elsewhere. So don't be fooled by their Spot repair reviews because anything more than that they will fail miserably. They actually had the audacity to ask me for parts they had to get for my sunroof and hood latch that was perfectly working for the whole time I've owned the car (Year). The reception... only started answering emails after I had to point out that they don't answer emails and my pet hate, being told info when Im there which basically is nothing more than white wash and fobbing me off with a rude undertone. below is my final email to PPW, I think that sums up my experience well.. This is a typical case of a former glory company that got too big for their shoes and didn't invest in proper training and staff, typical "keep going till the wheels fall off".

Hi Jon,
So I’ve had some time to actually look at the car properly on the ramp and I must say you guys did a rotten job and even more so because some parts are worse than they were the first time you gave it back in a mess. Not one panel on that car other than the roof looks like it’s been finished by a professional. So after nearly 8 weeks of back and forth It still has dents in the doors, scurry’s, scratches and fisheyes all over the car. Not just a scratch here and there but as if you used a scouring pad in places. Lots of dull / badly polished areas, even on front fenders and sill covers etc etc.
I’m really flabbergasted as to how you run your business with this sort of quality, I really do. I paid a whopping 4K for a paint job that looks like it’s about 10 years old and that has already been used heavily. (That’s my mechanics remark). I don’t know what kind of lighting you guys work with but I’m starting to think your using labourers in dark rooms with no grasp of how to flatten and polish.
