Went here the other day for an alternator replacement... quoted £615 lol... took the car off them after setting the diagnostic fee and went a few hundred yards down the street to a better garage.... price there for the same job, £480.... will not be going here again.

Gone in with a dented steel wheel that they don't fix but gave me a solution and fixed everything in ten minutes! Excellent service and attitude! Really recommend!

Amazing service. Starter motor needed replacing on my car. Phoned so many garages, not thinking this was a job that could be done by portishead tyre and mot. All other garages said' not till after xmas'. Portishead garage said could do tomorrow. Still a problem as needed urgently. Calculated buses to and from work, meaning leaving at 6am getting back at 10pm. Only option but took my car there in the afternoon. Was told if they could sort it in the day they would. 2 hrs later call to say it was repaired. Absolutely amazing. Thankyou to all there for amazing. efforts

I called up the garage and stated my windscreen wipers wouldn’t work and that I have a puncture in one of my tyres. They said bring it round and we can have a look so I thought that was good service straight away. When I went into the office I explained I was the person who called up about the windscreen wipers and the puncture and told me to park in bay 4. The staff member who was sorting out my tyre was fine and got the job sorted. However the staff member who decided to change my wipers without even speaking to me was extremely rude. Blaming me for his mistake of not listening to what I have said was the problem. When reporting this to the call taker and what appeared to be the manager in the office they didn’t seem to care and said they would have a word with him … couldn’t even apologise on his behalf.I have no doubt nothing has been done to try and rectify such unprofessionalism. I will not return to this garage again. And I certainly would not recommend this garage to anyone.

I spoke to a very helpful gentleman on the telephone regarding my tyre which popped after having it changed somewhere else. He suggested I pop in for him to look at it so i went in the next day and he ended up replacing the tyre that same day for a great price! I am very pleased with this service and if I have any issues again I will be coming straight back!
