Was actually really shocked I paid £22 for a check up and the guy didn’t even look at my teeth. I even asked him will he be looking at them before I leave, which he said he would... he spoke for 10 minutes about teeth exercise and printed leaflet on teeth ‘diet’ and request I come back in 1 month for a review. This was when, he said the time was up. Was absolutely shocked he didn’t even look to see if anything was needed for the next check up to book for. Before I left I mentioned it again..’do you not want to look at my teeth so I know what to book for in a month, as you said review in a month’, for his response to be, ‘well we won’t know what you need then, we will need to check them at that time’. I have chosen to sign up to a new dentist, as the experiences I have had here has been awful. I was originally with a female (Julie) dentist when I registered here, and requested to be moved as she caused me a lot of pain, I was then moved to a different dentist within poppie dental.

Easily the best Dental practice I have ever been a patient at. Everything is spot in - it's smart and spotless, beautiful decor with pictures of poppies everywhere. The waiting room has a large screen showing information about care of your teeth and when it's your turn your name comes up on the screen and tells you which room to go to. The staff are all friendly and very polite - from the reception staff to the Hygienist , the Dentist and all the dental assistants. They offer a text service where you get a reminder of your appointment a day or two before hand. The whole experience makes a visit to the dentist a less stressful experience. Highly recommended.
