Despite the team being very helpful and communicative, I'm afraid I have to agree with one of the other reviewers complaining about hurried jobs and fitting parts not required. We brought in the car twice and paid upward of 400 GBP for parts replacements to fix an engine light issue. However the engine light problem reappeared within a day, and the problem was not solved. After bringing it in to a dealer for a full diagnosis, the Pony road team refused to take the job. The car was then fixed without parts replacements at another garage outside Oxford, who admittedly spent upward of two days thoroughly diagnosing the engine but at a much better rate. After googling the error code for the engine light, and based on my discussion with the team at Pony road and the other garage, it seems Pony road just replaced the parts that are statistically most likely to cause the problem without doing a proper diagnosis (read: first Google result for the engine light error code). In sum, I've paid upward of 400 GBP for useless parts, and an opportunity to rectify this by taking the final job at a decent rate was refused.
