My Daughter went to this salon today to have her hair trimmed by 7 inches for the Little Princess Trust (children with cancer) Appointment @ 1pm taken @ 1.40 as her hairdresser was doing a colour she cut and washed my daughters hair only to be taken away by the manager to finish this colour, someone else was sent over to finish and dry and what a mess was made of her hair. It's not straight at the bottom it curves round at one side by 2 inches shorter than the rest and you would think it had been cut with their teeth as it's all up and down and uneven. £43 was paid for this and they couldn't even do the cut professionally it looks as though someone off the street has cut it. Don't waste your money or time going here as not only do they not cut it professionally but they don't stick to appointment times!

The people that work here are so nice and helpful. I was in yesterday and always leave loving my hair more and more. They know what they are talking about. Always help me during a bad hair day. Love my hair after they fixed it due to a mistake problem dark box dye which ruined my hair. Laura k

On arrival and on time for appointment, Megan came to the door and explained the procedure, before being seated. This was very professionally explained and this i saw through other members of the team. Megan then took me to be seated. I explained what I wanted (Megan has done my hair many times in the salon.) I wanted my full head colour and a cut and blow dry. During this time the team work so hard but especially the current situation with the extra precautions that are fully put in place. I absolutely love my hair Megan (as always). It was well over due. Thank you again Megan.

I’d originally gone here last year and loved the experience, so I decided to book in again, this time for a bigger hair cut for charity. I had super long hair and was wanting to donate 7” to a charity. I booked in with Megan and called the day before to see if I could bring someone with me to video the cut. I was reassured I’d be put in a side room. I arrived on time and was informed the hairdresser was running 10-15mins behind. So I came back 15mins later and we were taken in and sat in the corner -not in the room I was promised but nevertheless it was fine- unfortunately, 20mins later, I was still waiting. Megan came and was very apologetic, and so lovely. But she definitely hasn’t done a charity cut before and definitely hadn’t done her research and she was pretty clueless about how to cut the hair and keep it together. The charity has strict instructions for this, and a lot of time was wasted trying to deliberate how she would do it. Finally the cut was done, 7” off for donation. She washed my hair, gave it a quick tidy up and began drying it, only to then be pulled away to work with another client. Some other girl came and dried my hair, straightened it, and apparently “tidied it up”. I paid £43 and came out of the salon 1hr 40mins after I’d gone in. Once I got home I combed out my hair and my mum was appalled. My hair looks as though it’s been cut with teeth, not the “sharp, fresh, clean cut” I’d specified several times to both Megan and the other hairdresser, Nicole. My hair is far shorter than I’d requested, and with the quick “tidy ups” the two girls gave me, I’ve lost around 10”, and more needs to come off to tidy up the ends. I’m so disappointed as the staff are lovely, but clearly not very experienced, nor are they very good at researching a job they’ve never done before. The manager offered a “complimentary treatment” to fix the mess of my hair, but after the butchering it’s taken, I wouldn’t trust any of them around my hair again.

I've had a couple of simple style and cuts with Megan recently. She is personable and chatty, but not overly so - just the right balance. She remembered me and what we had chatted about before which was a pleasant surprise as I know it's a busy place and I am not exactly a "regular" - it had been 4 months since my last appointment. Megan gave me great haircuts both times and was very efficient too, but not at the cost of quality. I was not kept waiting long on any occasion nor did I feel rushed out the door. I would definitely recommend Megan as I had lovely experiences both times and it's a shame I am moving to another city as it's not easy to find a hairdresser who you click with on several levels!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I genuinely have just had the worst haircut ever. Had to go to another hairdresser to fix it which meant I had to get about 2 inches off my length. The girl that cut my hair clearly had not had adequate training. I would definitely avoid.

This was I believe my third visit to Pomo, and I had another great experience. I did a terrible home bleach job and needed it fixed ASAP, and Gavin knew exactly how to get it to the color I wanted- now it's gorgeous! He was friendly, listened to what I wanted, and did a great job on both the color and cut. Highly recommend!

I have visited twice and so far, so good. One of the girls managed to give a great style to my mums short hair (after showing her an online pic), as for myself I've very rarely left a hair salon feeling 100% satisfied so again, I've not been extremely happy with my haircut. Not bad, just okay.

Amazing expierence at Pomo today! Had a cut and style by Gavin and it was the most comfortable and fun expierence I've had when getting my hair done! The finished look was a complete transformation, he really took the time to understand the exact style I wanted. Thank you so much Gavin 🥰🥰
