As a war memorial it is impressive. When you look at the number of names who are remembered it gives you a sense of the sacrifice of the Poles who fought for the Allies to free Europe. I'm privileged to have worked on the airfield where these brave men flew from.

Great place to visit for remembrance of our heroes who fought for our peace and freedom.

This quiet corner of West London where those thousands of Poles who made the ultimate sacrifice whilst standing at Britain's side throughout WW11 are commemorated.

A wonderful peaceful Memorial and memorial garden - even if its on the side of a busy road and roundabout! Well maintained by Hillingdon Council. WE must never forget the great sacrifice of those Polish lads who escaped from their occupied country to come and fight alongside us for our freedom today
