Great place to stay not far from the centre of Edinburgh. The campus itself is clean, friendly and quiet, perfect place to get back to after a day out. The breakfast in the morning is great and essential for a good day of exploring. The room I stayed in was quiet, clean and just overall a lovely place to relax, although the walls are a bit thin so if you have a noisy neighbour it can make it a bit hard to get to sleep.

Has to be the most uncomfortable bed I've stayed on, with the most insignificant pillows ever. Add into the mix that with the window closed the room is unbearable, but it's so loud outside. Must be every morning around 6AM that rubbish collection trucks arrive! Only positives are the price, cleanliness and nice staff. Also, the breakfast is a grease fest.

Breakfast, location, and the room were fine. There unfortunately were numerous housekeeping issues from the room not being serviced regularly to someone trying to come into the room without asking. Also had issues with bedding and the bathrooms being properly cleaned. A disappointing stay...

Walked once again through the usually very well tended grounds only to find the weeds growing thick and profusely. There are still some lovely flowers - agapanthus, lilies, penstemon but oh The Weeds. I wanted to pull up some but resisted as so many. Couldn't believe my eyes when a group led some llamas through the grounds. Apparently some "show" I learned. Hopefully, the gardeners and groundsmen will return the gardens to their former glory.
