A needed a big jobie once, but some fanny had knocked ma bog roll. The officers told us no tae worry, and let us use the station bog cos a was burstin.

I informed about a theft and got through with the call (thats good) and I was called back with good info. Fast and precise. How much they can do at all depends on circumstances, but I was not ignored and the person on the other end was friendly. Happy with that.

Well, you cannot expect many people give a police station a positive reviews by the nature of the "business", some of the people who have had bad impression may not represents the whole population. I had an absolute positive experiences with the friendly and helpful local officers working in Glasgow. I used to ask them the direction to Tesco on street.

Terrible service, refused to even get me a menu.

Useless. Generally speaking, theft tends to go unpunished, but say a naughty word to someone and they'll come down on you like a ton of bricks. Report theft to the police? You may as well call Batman.

Loved the tiramisu. Not too pricy for the quality of the meals

My only issue with the force is that they have a tendency to treat everyone as criminals in the first instance then when they check you out there whole attitude changes. I can understand there reasoning but first impressions works both ways
