I'd set PMT on the same level as Richer Sounds, and it doesn't get any better than that! Bought again this week, had a couple of problems that were sorted quickly without issue. Without hesitation I'd recommend PMT!!

Great service and huge knowledge of all things musical. Some music shops can be intimidating and snobbish but these guys are patient and helpful whatever your level of experience. Yes it's easy to buy things from amazon etc but PMTs kind of expertise and advice is priceless and is what keeps the UK music scene running. Use it or lose it!

Not only did PMT Oxford price match an online stores prices, they have been absolutely stellar in getting everything ordered and sorted out. Absolutely outstanding customer service from the whole team too. Friendly, knowledgeable and not looking to pressure you into a purchase you may regret later. They'd rather you take your time to make the right choice - even if that choice is, "I'll think about it and come back another time". They have absolutely guaranteed they will always be my first port of call for any future purchases.

Went in for advice on synthesisers for my son's Xmas present. Told them my budget. Was told it was "very generous" and, whilst there was kit in there to fit the budget, was advised not to. Great advice and demonstration. I could now go online and buy one but won't. You don't get personal demonstrations and such good unbiased and unconditional advice online. Great service deserves the trade. I'll be back to get the prezzie.

Overall a very good experience. Have been meaning to make the trip for a while now, but it's a 40 minute walk for me so had been putting it off until today. Very accommodating staff who didn't mind that I wasn't buying, gave me ample time to play around with the new Ultra series, and made the effort of plugging me in to my amp of preference, even though it meant dragging it over. Many stores (including branches of PMT) are irritated buy customers who come in just to noodle around, but not this one. Thanks very much Dan!

Went for the digital pianos, they have the best selection out to try within several hours drive. Very knowledgeable staff who helped us decide on a great piano. Lots of different instruments and gear. Very close to the bus route if you're also walking around Oxford. Great stock as they have several stores, although every music shop is struggling with stock currently due to COVID.

Great store. Lots of kit. Fantastic collection of guitars and other music items. Helpful staff. But very expensive. I liked a particular guitar. I found exactly the same item elsewhere nearly £300 cheaper! I bought some items. I found them all online nearly 50% cheaper. However, I will shop there again as l like the personal touch and the friendly and helpful expertise.

The best shop ever. Really helpful and friendly and knowledgeable staff, great range of products. Fantastic.
