This is the first place to go in Manchester of you need anything related to musical instruments. Massive store with a large number of guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, pianos and much more. Also sells used items of god quality, Amps, heads and replacement parts. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Loads of parking. Prices are on the mark too. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I found everyone to be very knowledgeable, friendly happy to assist with no pressure to purchase. I had an ongoing problems with another company and am happy to say the PMT Manchester are going to rectify the issue. Needless to say I will not be going anywhere else soon. Highly recommended. Plenty of variety of instruments and equipment under one roof. They are happy to let customers try out the equipment. Shop displays are well presented. Knowledgeable staff. Convenient location and good parking. Prices seemed OK in general. Some bargains and a few things like guitar straps and cables seemed a bit pricey. A few niggles ..... On my particular visit, many of the products were not price labelled and I had to keep checking the prices on the PMT website using my phone. .... my next day delivery took 2 days (possibly not PMT's fault) ... and my two emails asking for information about a warranty claim and equipment advice both went unanswered. In general, the store is worth a visit.

Visited PMT today and bought the Headrush 108 speaker. Absolutely superb service from Steve H who taught me so much about the Helix. His knowledge was unbelievable and he very kindly demonstrated the sounds, explaining how he achieved them. Incredible customer service from Steve. I'll definitely be back. If you have an interest in buying a Helix or similar modeller I would definitely recommend seeing Steve. Thank you.

I love this store, but I wish it could be better. I went to buy a guitar stand - but they didn't have any! In a guitar shop! Plus, hardly anything seemed to have a price on it, and I find this so frustrating. From guitars to picks, from straps to pedals, hardly any prices.

Just awesome. Was very professionally assisted by a new employee called Jay. Wouldn’t have known he was new if he didn’t tell me. Brought me the guitars I was interested in, set up an amp as close as he could to my home amp and left me to enjoy the guitar. No pressure to buy, no looking over my shoulder. Just amazing service. I did purchase a guitar and I’ll definitely be back. (Here’s my guitar if you’re interested. She’s beautiful)

They have been good in the past but I've had an awful experience today. Ignored and when I mentioned it I got a sarcastic response. Never again. Great place to test instruments before buying elsewhere online.
