Service poor, staff more interested in wiping down tables than serving customers. Actively trying to avoid looking in our tables direction. Won't be back. Food fine, should have been warmer though!

I've been 2 or 3 times to this particular venue, at the Trafford Centre. The staff were helpful, reasonably priced food and good service also. I liked their all you can eat buffet, that was available there too, each time.

Anyone looking at their name “pizza express” will understand a pizza will be given in express way. But the truth is any ordered pizza will take at least 30 minutes. We actually wait for over 50 minutes today. It may be due to we ordered a normal pizza and a kid’s pizza. All the waiters ignored us. The water jug was served with out cups. The ice cream was served without spoon. The pizza was served without cutter. They even didn’t have a working card reader for card payments. It is the worst restaurant I know right now. I can think no way they can be worse. But maybe they can.

Ignored and pointed at when we were stood at the door. Waited 10 minutes with staff actively ignoring us. Was told they had no staff to accept tables. Obviously if there's no staff then there's nothing that can be done about that, but being ignored is not an experience I wish to repeat 😐

I can forgive them the awful quality red wine, and to be fair to them, the starters : dough balls, roasted tomatoes, and garlic bread were very nice, but waiting ages to be brought a genuinely virtually cold pizza was poor. We were nice, but pointed out the issue. No apologies, then then, whilst the replacement pizza was hot…. It was the wrong pizza ! Staff member claimed we were wrong and couldn’t care less. Visited Pizza Express many times, but this kind of experience makes you feel unappreciated as a customer, these companies should bend over backwards to make sure customers have a great time. It’s only pizza, how hard can that be ??
