Ordered the lasagne and it was great. Not bad for a franchise restaurant but I think prices aren’t equivalent to portion sizes (position of my camera is quite close). Service was good and quick though.

Pretty poor service. Got our order wrong and the 2 nearby tables wrong. Table for 5 but bring knifes and forks for 2 as with the table.behind. pizza was tasteless and boring. Staff were kids that didn't understand the basics in hospitality or serving folk. Gluten-free malarkey not for me thanks. Won't be going again.

I first walked in a PE about 16 years ago when I moved to London. I found it a cheap, uninspiring, 'would like to be Italian' establishment for families with the munchies. I never went back since; until a friend suggested to eat at the Brighton marina branch as she 'liked it'. After strongly opposing I gave in and decided to give it another go. I certainly avoided the pizza and opted for the parmigiana. Well if they blindfolded me and made me taste the two dishes I wouldn't be able to tell the difference if not for the consistency. Bland Bland Bland, absolutely tasteless. So my friend try to save the face by adding a ton of salt but even that seemed to be tasteless. So we paid the bill and walked out like a convict does after a prison meal, with a full tummy but deeply saddened. Sorry PE no improvement in the last 16 years. No stars would have been more appropriate.
