It's a lovely peaceful bookshop and have always found it a pleasure to visit, normally. However, on this occasion, I bought a christian magazine and was made to feel my purchase wasn't quite enough. I got, "You came all this way just to buy that?" True, I don't have a lot of money and this led to embarrassment and humiliation.
