Sublime. I haven't seen anything like it. It is just the most mystifying experience I've had. It is quite amazing that England, being the most populated island in the world, can still keep this natural paradises. I strongly recommend anyone interested in hiking to come to the peak district, it is just beautiful!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Spotless, clean, and well maintained. Took a 4 year old who was really scared to go up because the view was stunning and amazing, he could see that it would be a challenge and would climb off the ground. However as the paths are quite flat and steady, he was able to climb up to one peak.

Lovely scenery. Truly breathtaking. Natural and it should be for all to see. Sad at the very high parking fees absolutely everywhere... I don't mind paying but asking for a minimum of 4 hours and charging a huge amount for it, just seems mean spirited. It was really the only downside of this magical region.

Plenty of ground to cover here. In every sense of the phrase. Ideal if you want to do some walking or cycling and see some breathtaking views at the same time. Or you can visit one of the many villages and find some traditional pubs serving up locally sourced food and drink.

Hired bikes at Fairmeadows at a very reasonable rate. Lads at cycle hire were excellent. Was surprisingly uncrowded given it was a Sunday in July, dry, and warm. Not enough parking spaces, so get there early! We've met and chatted to two rangers this weekend, both quite knowledgeable in their fields.

Love this place. So many hiking trails and cool views. Easily accessible from Manchester and good variety of hikes from easy to difficult. Some places are really popular now but you can always find some quieter routes. Would definitely recommend a visit, especially Castleton/Edale

Beautiful place to visit for a walk and get some fresh air. We've been visiting this area for years now and still enjoy the scenery and walks. Only issue I have concerns some visitors, who recently decided to light a Chinese lantern that was left unattended. Fortunately we were able to extinguish this before it set alight.
