Prices they charge are extortionate and dishonest knowing the fact that all ingredients are locally available. People are so stupid to go there and pay almost £4 for a tiny cake.

What a welcoming friendly immaculate and innovative wee cafe. Understated, unassuming yet deserves to be proud of what is is achieving and commended for serving the best cappuccino, scones plus other inspirational goodies which look delightfully tempting and taste even better. I shall certainly make this my regular place to stop off whenever I am in Morningside.

I went a few times, enjoyed the cakes, obviously, and the bread. They should work on the choice of staff though. One of the ladies working there is very rude, dismissive and moody, never a smile on her face. I promised myself I never go there again, yet I went again yesterday morning, that was Saturday. They supposed to be open at 8.30, it was past that time, the door was open yet as soon as I entered she shouted at me 'we're not open yet'. No 'I'm sorry, we're running late could you come back in 5 minutes' or anything like that. I regreted I gave them another chance. Awful, humiliating experience. Also, some description of the product selection would be good, instead of just pointing and tryning to describe whichever cake with rasperries I mean. Plus if you have a woman like that behind the counter you dont really want to ask whats inside this or that quiche. The rest of the girls there are very nice though and I always used to leave a nice tip.
