I've recently signed a 12 month contract for a one-bedroom flat in Leeds with Parklane. I can't say I've had a better experience with a property agent in my whole life. Their staff have made the process extremely smooth - booking viewings, paying a deposit or rent, signing any contracts, etc. The staff are always willing to help out when I've had any inquiries such as my most recent one regarding installing fibre optic broadband in my flat. Out of all the property agents I've spoken to in Leeds, Parklane has definitely been the best.

Both moving in and moving out proceeded very smoothly, and deposit was returned with zero issues. Charlie, in charge of the property, was excellent throughout the tenancy with communication. Would recommend Parklane !

A good agency but they do not care once they get you as a client or tenant

I've just won £152 back of a nearly £200 fraudulent claim Parklane made on mine and my housemate's deposit. They tried to charge us for cleaning that had already been done and damages we weren't liable for. They didnt even bother to put these charges in writing to us and while trying to figure out what was going on, their staff (who all seem to be barely out of their teens) actively avoided our calls. Absolute idiots who don't seem to actually understand the laws of renting properties - do not sign a tenancy with them!

The team at Parklane we’re fantastic from start to finish. The valuation Satty gave us was 20% higher than the 5 other estate agents we spoke to, but with her extensive contacts in the UK and abroad she was confident she would be able to get the best price for our apartment. From arranging professional photos to managing viewings, Parklane were extremely skilled and professional. At no point did we talk about reducing the price and they found a buyer who offered our full asking price within a reasonable time frame. After the sale was agreed, the great service didn’t stop. The contact between ourselves and the buyer was fantastic and we were kept informed by Parklane throughout the whole process. DO NOT GO WITH PARKLANE PROPERTIES!! Absolutely shocking estate agency. They withheld our deposit for 10 months after moving out with an excuse of ‘not providing 1 months proof of payment’. They don’t keep track of how much you pay so that they can take more money from you at the end as they took out £350 out of our deposit which should never have been took out. Additional to this, they charged us for damages at the house which were already there when we moved in and they charged us for them anyways. They also emailed us our list of damages they were to take out of the deposit which we weren’t against. We were then promised a minimum of £500 out of our 1200 deposit (should have been another £350 on top). They only gave us £352 and then gave us another email saying ‘oh sorry, we forgot to add on these damages aswell’ even though it was already sorted and I took photos of the bathroom which they charged us extra for and there was nothing wrong with it at all and I even got my family to come around and inspect it themselves for a second opinion. They will just scam you and make you pay more then you should be doing and they are honestly so bad for replying to email and trying to get stuff sorted in the houses as they take ages to reply and the job is never done properly either. Absolutely shocking estate agency and would not recommend at all as we are only just finishing up with them after moving out in July and it’s now June the next year, absolute shambles.

Parklane Properties have looked after us for over ten years, first managing the letting of our single house in Leeds and then acting as sole agent for the sale of the property. In both cases, we have been really grateful for the thoughtful and conscientious service we received. Selling a house is normally a stressful experience but Satty and her team made it so much easier with timely and practical advice, always direct and to the point but with the best interests of their clients at heart. Well done, we are really happy customers.

When I viewed the apartment there was bad water egress damage in both the living room and bedroom and also damage to one of the cupboards in the kitchen. I was told this would be fixed ASAP. 6 months later still no repairs and more things are wrong and both parklane and the landlord show no interest in fixing these issues. This is unacceptable especially when I pay £750 a month. I won't be renting a property from parklane again
