Helpful staff at reception. At the pool saw some room handing personal clothing to dry at the balcony. This is a hotel, not sure if some might be on quarantine order, but very unsightly. I have taken pictures not sure how to submit.

Parking is limited due to high number of staycationers. Had to queue 35 minutes for breakfast. Poolside bar is closed. Dinner bbq buffet was mediocre. However, front desk was helpful and helped to reserve a parking spot for me in the evening.

Bountiful feast @parkhotelclarkequay! The hotel’s Banquet Chef James Wong has curated FOUR auspiciousness set menus, available for dine-in and takeaway from 29 Jan to 26 Feb 2021. Fragrant Crispy Duck, inspired from the Cantonese ‘heung song’ duck, is first marinated with spices and hua diao wine, then steamed till soft and tender. Coated in a batter and deep-fried, it is complemented with sides of tangy achar and duck jus. Other highlights include the savoury Steamed Red Garoupa with Yellow Bean Paste, Salted Egg Yolk Golden Tiger Prawn and Steamed Fragrant Rice in Lotus Leaf with Duck Meat and Chinese Sausage, each bringing familiar, heart-warming flavours that please the palate. Promotion: reserve before 29 Jan 2021, and enjoy a discount of 15% off the Chinese New Year set menus.

Room was a lot smaller than expected. Very cramped and barely had room to walk around. Nevertheless they were quite clean. However the service at Porta (the hotel restaurant) is horrible. We waited 35 minutes for our food to arrive (for two of us). We saw people who came in later than us get their food and finish their food and we still had not received ours. The staff there were quite clueless about what was going on because when we ask them how long it would take for the food to arrive they simply replied with "The chef is cooking". ?????????? When the food arrived they got our orders wrong too. We were hungry and disappointed. Overall an ok experience except when dining in the restaurant.
