Completely impossible booking system, as others have pointed out. Besides, no appointments available. Stressed receptionists who are either downright rude bullies or who give ridiculous "medical" advice. Very difficult to get past them and get to see a doctor, too. Rather than filtering depending on the gravity of the case, they seem to filter depending on the caller's character: the patients who are not pushy are left out. Nurses, doctors, receptionists, all of them give incomplete and contradictory information. A few good experiences with a few nurses but in general an absolute disaster. Both me and husband were prescribed unnecessary and in our case dangerous medication. Results take forever to come back, it's a real chore to get the information from the surgery. As good as nothing, this has finally persuaded us to get private medical insurance. A joke and a disgrace!

Okay so getting an appointment is the hardest thing in the world here BUT when you do get to see someone, they're pretty damn good. Very thorough doctors, been diagnosed with many things that my old drs ignored and have received appropriate help. A fantastic nursing team - especially Shirley and Jackie. The Dr I didn't like has left now so that's good by me. I did put a complaint in once that got ignored, however, they don't deserve such a dire rating.

Phoned 40times+ and still user busy. They have how many phones in there and it takes the staff ages to pick up. I think the staff are very slow and when it comes to a personal matter they will talk about it infront of people. This medical centre use to be very good but now,it’s gone down hill. I will be moving doctors surgery.

5/ 5

Like most GP surgeries, it’s not easy to get an appointment but once you do the standard of care is fantastic. The children’s nurses are so lovely, caring & thorough. Dr Allen has plenty of time for you and then goes above and beyond to help you after diagnosis. The secretaries are also very helpful and fast to respond to queries especially Louise who also goes above and beyond to help. Lovely surgery for families.

Awful! I’ve been with this practise for over 15 years and it just gets worse! Rude reception staff who can’t be bothered to answer the phone and when they do they are ‘doctors’ and know everything… Constantly have to call over and over again, sometimes upto 60 times in a morning just to get through and 99% of the time they just tell me to call back the next day, after 5 days of trying in a row, i just give up 🤦🏻‍♀️ I would move but noone is accepting NHS patients at the moment

After 46 plus years with park avenue medical centre, I have made the sad decision to move to another doctors practice, this doctors has been getting steadily worse, to the point it is no longer the good place it used to be, the reasons being, it is impossible to get an appointment to see a doctor, you are more often than not told there is nothing available, reviews for changed medications and on going conditions have not lately been carried out, I appreciate we have just come through a pandemic but there are basics and gp's were not closed. Such a shame a good opportunity totally messed up over the years.

Been with Park Avenue all my life and for the first time I feel like their care has dropped to potentially dangerous levels. I understand covid has had an impact but when your Dr surgery send a text referring you to an online service where you have to pay to speak to a GP because they don't have time there is something drastically wrong with the management of the surgery.
