Reviewing in regards to my son who moved to Glasgow from Prestwick a year ago. He registered here as soon as possible and tried to go in about his asthma but couldn't make an appointment. Receptionist didn't let him make an appointment about the migraines he started having. We think it might have been because he was young and not local. But even when I called "on behalf of my son" they acted very rude. If it wasn't their rude receptionist it was THIS NUMBER IS BUSY PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER. When he did get an appointment the GP told him to self medicate regarding his migraines. We got him back to our GP and he got prescribed medicine straight away. Practice should be shut down or staff better trained. This is a city practice but I've got friends and family in Glasgow and none have to jump through this many hoops. Disgrace to the NHS. Please dont register here.

Friendly staff and all Doctors ,except one, are very professional. Almost impossible to both get an appointment or get through on the phone to make an appointment. Previous Dr. was great but since his retirement practice has been very understaffed.

Very poor. Almost impossible to make it through the call tree. I finally made it through the other day, to clarify the date of the next appointment for my 4 week old son after the health visitor had written the wrong date on the appointment slip. The receptionist was incredibly rude, and dismissive, speaking over me and telling me I'd have to phone back in a few weeks. When I explained that we'd likely then miss the appointment she then transferred me to a different number without asking, and of course that rang out. If you don't care about people or have any kind of listening skills, you shouldn't be answering the phone for a doctors surgery.

Absolutely shocking practice! Being prescribed wrong medicine because they did not even bother to see me, doctor never phoned me back due to this i ended up in hospital but I guess that suited them better instead of taking care of me. It is inhumane the way they treat you, requested my files they refused it, no follow up check ups, they do not care of you die. Could go on and on... i am unsure what are they getting paid for and I hope they will end up in a same situation that they put us in

I think they switch off the phones after 4pm sometimes, I had a quiet day so l let my phone ring one day for over an hour and NOTHING, another day it was 40min an NOTHING. You can’t blame everything on COVID-19, Sick.people can be demanding and difficult, there is a few receptionist that are stellar who go above and beyond, and some I would not let them speak to the dead, let alone people that could be at their most vulnerable, that chip on their shoulders must make them so awful to those looking for help👎🤬

Doctors and nurses are nice and offered a caring health service when I needed. However, the administration staffs especially the ones over the reception were extremely rude. More than half of the time when contacted to make an appointment with the doctor(only for genuine reason), they will refuse and if I ask further, they will say complaint then. I tried to explain it to them that I just would like to visit my doctor not complaint, and they will still suggest me to complaint. In post COVID world, they have become even more rude and refusing any doctor appointment. I do think NHS should take strict action against this administration because they don't deserve to work in a healthcare service. Thankfully, I moved on to another practice.
