Just spent a few Nights at Palais Royale in the Royal Spa Suite to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. Wow , what a magnificent room , the original stained glass windows on the 3 sides of the separate lounge area takes you back to a bygone era. The Suite was very large in size, and as I said had a separate lounge area with suitable lounge & chairs for all and was very becoming of a top class room at this grand hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful and really down to earth people with nothing too much trouble and they have a genuine wish to assist and make your stay a memorable one. Thank you to all you excelled.

Service and food was excellent. The rooms very comfortable and the sitting area was lovely to catch up with family. Would recommend to anyone that is interested in staying in Katoomba

The building is well maintained and the room is clean. All the staff we encountered from front desk to the restaurant are very friendly. The owner/manager should be proud of their hotel and their staff.

Stayed here last night with the kids. Simple, basic, not changed or decorated since the 1940’s so a little dated as a result. Clean, and functional if in need of an update. Bed was comfy.

Nice place for family. Calm and quiet with good view. Near to city center. All eating places near by
