Today was my second visit to Oxford Violins. On both occasions I have been treated most respectfully (as a music lover with no technical knowledge or talent for playing!) The three guys that work here are true craftsmen and deliver an exemplary service at a very reasonable price. There is simply no better place to go for builds, repairs, retunes or advice on violins. Thank you for your time and patience this morning Michael and for fixing and tuning my son's poor quality violin so skilfully! Best Regards, Alan

A very fine establishment. The guys here are incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to antique stringed instruments, but are also super friendly and helpful even with one such as myself who is completely ignorant of music. They are generous with their time and charge very reasonable fees. Would highly recommend!
