Orvis bath

Friendly and helpful staff. Nicely laid out as you would expect from an Orvis store.

Great service but not as big as you may think.

With helpful sales assistants and a vast range of clothing that fits tall fat men Orvis is always a joy to visit, I usually come out with something and find that whatever i buy seems to wear well and last a long time. The initial cost might seem a lot but it is worth it in the long rum. Look for their sales and you can often bag a bargain.

Very good quality and helpful staff

I called in on the off chance to compare a couple of Rods. I'd just purchased a Orvis Helios via mail order a day or so before and was concerned it was too stiff for my liking. I spoke with Nigel first who talked me through the different rods in the range. He suggested I cast the various rods in the range and went to get Alex who is more fly fishing orientated. Alex then took me down to the Rugby fields with 3 different fly rods and reels loaded with different lines. We spent an hour or more casting the different rods and trying to match each with the correct lines for my requirements. I was completely blown away by the level of service given and its staff like this who are a total credit to the Orvis name. I've decided to keep my Helios yet fish it with a line 1 weight up which loads the rod perfectly. Thanks so much for all your help! If I could give 6 stars I would!

What a pleasure shopping here - and there was me thinking that customer service was dead in the UK.... a very pleasant surprise to find it alive and well in Orvis, Bath.

Really pleased with the service. Nigel was amazing; very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. It’s a great shop to get ready for the winter chills, in our case specifically for a jacket purchase (they stock Barbour). Thank you, we will definitely be coming back
