Oriental Express oxford

Quick, tasty, reasonable prices. If you want to try Chinese cuisine you should choose Oriental Express. It's easy to find and there's a carpark in the vicinity. I fell in love with beef in black pepper sauce.

Always love the food from here. NOT TONIGHT. Disgusting. soggy chips, kung po prawn that tastes like the prawns have been refried. Not freshly prepared. I ate a few spoonfuls and that was all I could tolerate! what a waste of £20.

I was worried after reading the reviews and was prepared for bad food. However I was pleasantly surprised, as were my parents. The chow mein was great, good sized portions and prawns weren’t too heavily battered. Doesn’t deserve the amount of bad reviews. Food also came within 15 minutes and was piping hot!

Love the BBQ ribs, and chips not greasy just right. Good portions as well.

Absolutely disgusting we have been eating there for years. I ordered spare ribs when I opened the there was a claw in my food when I asked for the delivery driver to come back they made me put all the food back in the box and they took it back this has put my whole family off of oriental express and won't be going back !!!

Best Chinese in Oxford! There is no other that does the prawns like Oriental Express staff. Also the most friendly staff! Always a pleasure to go there or to order home! Thanks to the entire team! 🙏

Rubbish they give main course take away in side dish container. I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there.

I'm giving this one star not because of the quality of food or service but what on earth are those prices all about. 8.50 for some appetizer £7.75 for simple chow mien. Look the food is great but it doesn't justify these prices. All other similar Chinese food outlets are way cheaper like £2 per dish cheaper. I'd order more often from hear but at those prices sadly no. Disappointing. As would have given this 4 or 5 stars.
