Orchid Blush did the hair and make up for all the bridal party at my wedding and I could not recommend them enough. They took their time with every single one of us and made us all look sensational. Everyone was thrilled with the results. My bridesmaids have been bridesmaids before and they all said how this was by far the best make up they have had. They all looked incredible. Ruth and the team were also just lovely and put us all at ease I was also thrilled with both my bridal hair and make up and am just so glad I found Orchid Blush.

A wonderful, reliable service from some lovely ladies. I had booked them for my wedding hair and makeup. The wedding reception was pushed back a year due to COVID and so Orchid Blush's service was also postponed. They were very helpful and understanding during what was a very stressful time and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Orchid Blush completely let me down before my wedding. I had a trial booked for hair and make up on Sunday 1st August 2021. I was contacted on the Friday evening to say the hair/makeup artist had to self isolate so my trial was cancelled, and they would contact me the next morning to let me know what would happen with my wedding. Completely understandable, I knew this could happen. I emailed back saying it was fine and asking whether the artist could still do my wedding, as it was 3 weeks away, and what options they were considering. But no one contacted me on Saturday. I gave them some time, as I figured they must be really busy rearranging more urgent appointments. But when I still hadn't heard from them by the Tuesday, I emailed them following up. 2 emails, 2 unanswered phone calls, a voicemail and a Facebook message later, I finally got a reply (I don't even really use Facebook, but this seemed to be the only way to get an answer). This was a full week after they initially emailed me. Ruth replied on Facebook and was very friendly, saying it would be sorted that day. I had to follow up again at the end of the day, and was told there was now no one free for my wedding, and that Ruth may be able to help on her day off, but I'd need to test on my wedding day. I said I'd consider this. The next morning I had an email from Pam saying my booking was cancelled and I was being given a refund. I emailed back that whilst I understood the difficulties with covid, I was frustrated that it took a week and so many attempts to contact them before I got a reply. I also said I still don't understand what had actually happened, as the initial artist would have been back from isolation 10 days before my wedding (providing they weren't unwell of course). They didn't even reply to my email about how things had been handled, and just sent me my money back. Still managed to send me emails shortly after when they launched a new product though! I was left with 2 weeks to find a new hair and makeup artist and no explanation as to why it was cancelled and why they ignored all my messages for a week. Terrible communication and unnecessary stress in the run up to my wedding.
