The room we were in 328 was pleasant with a nice ocean view however we found in the evening around midnight there was a thumping sound coming out of the roof/ wall ducting every 20 minutes for a minute each time - regular as clock work . Sleep was almost impossible through that symphony. Do not stay in this room or near it! We recorded the sounds to show the staff and they were sympathetic but that’s all. Generally felt the staff were helpful despite the venue being very tired.

We stayed here for two nights, our room was pretty good, was very clean. However, bathroom was a little outdated, TV wasn’t working when we got there but eventually it started to work. On the second day of our stay we were locked out of our room and had to walk all the way back to reception to get our keys to work (a bit annoying especially when you have a young child who is restless and just likes to run off). Overall we did enjoy our stay, the food from the restaurant in the resort was great! Bit upset though that we had to pay to hire a cot and a microwave, all hotels should provide these in their rooms!

Giving only 1 star cause of ocean view. Sad to see this resort has been neglected in every way. From the cleaning to decor to landscaping etc etc. We will not be staying here again till the place is fixed up . It needs loads of maintenance and entire face-lift to the building. Very sad cause the location is nice.

5/ 5

I like Coffs Harbour Opal Cove Resort - was amazing and it has a lot of things that you can do in Coffs harbour. Great staff, they were very friendly and welcoming, and our last night was great. They have a games room, chess board (big), tennis court, mini golf, swimming pools, and a spa. It was so, so amazing that I don't have anything negative comments about the stay, but from Annangrove Sydney to Opal Cove resort, it was 5 hours drive there, and it was too long of a drive for me. But it was a GREAT place. There was great service was great, and the food great, too. Hopefully if you want to, you go there on holidays.

Arrived for a large wedding, room was not in location advertised. Asked for a room change at my expense that was denied also discount that was paid for by wedding party was not delivered $150, our room was not serviced for our entire stay ie had to ask for a clean towel and used our own toilet paper that I had in our vehicle. Mind you there is a special discount of $10 a day if they don’t have to clean your room. Absolutely a joke in customer service as I was informed of random people receiving the room that I was promised. I asked the service desk about a late checkout that I was willing to pay for but was denied..
