Old Post House cardiff

We held our choir's Christmas Party here last night and have only praise. The venue - the marquee - looked wonderful and the tables were set up beautifully. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful. Service was efficient as well. Would recommend to anyone. All the choir members we have spoken to were very complementary.

Extremely welcoming and friendly environment, my partner and I had a wonderful nights sleep. A great place to go for a weekend getaway. Nothing was too much to ask of the staff, the lady that welcomed us was very punctual and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we didn't wait very long to eat. The surrounding area is gorgeous and very quiet during the evenings. The old post house was very reasonably priced for such great service and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We will certainly be returning as soon as possible.

The loction is convenient,the room was clean and modern,the breakfast was very good,and the staff were first class.

We had our wedding reception at the Old Post House and it was perfect from start to finish. First of all, you have the entire venue (hotel rooms and all) to yourself all weekend, so it feels like your own place and really adds to the occasion. Secondly, having the food, drinks and DJ dine in-house makes it much more stress free (particularly if you have to change dates like we did), and the afternoon tea and buffet was delicious- plenty to choose from, including gluten free and veggie/vegan options- Cheralyn and the whole team were incredible, particularly for looking after my Nan- we couldn’t recommend it more and we’ll certainly be back for anniversaries!

We were a party of 21, mixed with Adults and Children. Absolutely stunning meal, all our food came together, was piping hot and delicious. The Staff are amazing and so friendly. Well done , we will definitely be back. Thanku for a lovely afternoon 💕

A lovely independent business with a fantastic locally sourced array of food and drink. Great staff who are happy to help and can also make a great coffee!! A nice little place to go for a cake and coffee as well as picking up a few bits in the farm shop section. Their food is fresh and tasty.

We visited the Old Post House for a wedding. It was beautifully laid out and the food was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and bent over backwards to ensure we had a great time. My only criticism would be the number of toilets available. Other than that - loved it!

Food is amazing, could not fault one thing, a real treat 😍
