Played petanque there today. Yes, club house bit old and dated but comfy and welcoming. Decent food for lunch and stalwart mugs of coffee and tea available all day. And breakfast baps. Bar staff friendly. Pistes well tended and looked after. Plenty of room to settle on adjacent grass with our canvass chairs/boules. A pleasure to visit and will be visiting again, whenever the opportunity arises.

This is Without Prejudice & after great reluctance. We had been meeting there for a very long time. Suddenly the Heating was being turned off & the Power Sockets not functional. Very embarassing when we had Speakers for our meetings. It was also shocking when someone barged in & accused us of breaking in. We were given the key & he knew it. We were also given the Code for unlocking the Main Gate. False allegations. He was quite confrontational. Whatever issue he had, he went about it the wrong way. We were shocked & visibly shaken. Lible & defamation in my opinion. How very rude & totally unprofessional. Well, we found a much better Venue, at a fantastic cheap deal, & with Food & Drink facilities.

The structure might be old but the people who run it are amazing. The Archery coach is the best one could ask for. The club is never too busy, allowing always for training in safety.
