I’m not usually one to complain but I am very disappointed with the service I received. I had a massage booked for 10.40am using a voucher I received as a gift. Unfortunately I injured my back and called at 9am as soon as they opened to ask if I could reschedule. I didn’t wish to cancel as I am a local and would be able to attend at another time. I understood there was a 2 hour cancellation fee and thought about leaving a message prior to them opening but thought it would be the right thing to do to speak to staff once they opened. The staff member that answered the phone was very rude in telling me that the cancellation fee would be charged and that I should of left a message 20 minutes prior to them opening if I didn’t want to be charged. Given that the message would of been heard at the same time I called I didn’t think this would be an issue. I was very apologetic about the whole thing only to receive very rude customer service and be told that there was nothing they could do. Will definitely not be booking a massage here again and would prefer to use other local businesses that I know would of shown understanding in the same circumstances.
