Hadn’t been here for years. But enjoyed the experience. I remember seeing films here in the 70s. Different layout then. Thought the cinema seats were comfortable, and it was a big screen. It would be worth going back again. We parked just up the road in The Galleries car park. Easy and cheap parking.

No wheelchair access and completely inaccessible. What is this, the 1900's? Pathetic. Won't ever go to a Odeon cinema again as they clearly don't want disabled people visiting. Big chain like that can afford some tarmac for the entrance.

Seriously run down and very unconformable. Watched the new James Bond film over the weekend in a screen that felt like what I can only describe as a sauna on steroids. Throughout the entire film, people were having to continually get up and go outside for fresh air (followed by the slamming of the screens ridiculously heavy set doors). I wouldn't even wish this kind of experience on my worst enemy. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

2/ 5

If you are in your sixties and want to relive your Bristol-studentlife from the eighties, this might be the perfect place and otherwise I would certainly recommended to look for another cinema. The screen is small enough to have only a ‘big screen’ experience on the first two rows. Otherwise my nanny’s telly is bigger than the white dot at the other end of the room. Luckily the surround sound impressed, when you have never listened to a sound bar before. The venue might want to make it possible to bring your own speaker with you. And chair, because the seats are vintage enough to be a perfect selling item for Camden Market, but after a two hour film a real back breaker. And they should be taken out, because the seats aren’t on an incline. It is possible to bring your own drinks, because the drinks and snacks are hardly available (and there are just as few bins to throw away the litter). But maybe you should try to find another cinema first; if it isn’t in Bristol, then outside. The two stars are for the lovely and friendly staff whom I really wish a safe, modern and inspirational workplace to.
