Gone with these solicitors originally as assumed all are the same and it would be easier if kept with my selling estate agent company. What seemed straight forward sale and purchase turned in to nightmare. Questions I raised with regards sale (government scheme help to buy) equity settlement, was told they will deal but as it turned out later they did not deal with them and I needed to deal myself. Questions I raised at the start of purchase process weren't even discussed with sellers till about 5 weeks in and only then 1 question(easiest one of all) out of 5. And when searches results were received I wasn't informed till about 10 days later and they were wrong, with borders for property I was buying incorrect. Had a heated meeting with Helen and after that received email that will no longer will work with me and that they don't need to explain why they haven't disclosed information earlier regarding searches. All that approved by manager Chris. I found other solicitors (Barcan+Kirby) and when they raised questions regarding issues Ocean property lawyers should have done, no reply! You want to save nerves and time go with someone else not with Ocean property Lawyers
