Each time I ask for a call back from a doctor as I could easily sort my problem over the phone but they always ask me to come in just to tell me what could of been done over the phone saving that appointment slot for someone else. And same again today I asked for a call back and Wednesday afternoon was the best they could offer (2days away) it’s a two minute phone call!!!! I can guarantee again they will want me to waste an appointment slot and go in, but could easily be sorted over the phone. No wonder people can’t get an appointment as they waste so much slots just seeing people when they don’t need to.

My grandson (18months old) has croup my daughter couldn't get him to swallow tablet (steroid) whole

My grandson (18months old) has croup my daughter couldn't get him to swallow tablet (steroid) whole or in water, it is very bitter ... she was told to wrap him in blanket and hold his mouth closed until he swallowed?? and get her partner to hold him down ?? This medication is powerful and has many side effects although a one dose oral liquid could be used for croup?? This was after a trip to derriford late night .. I'm sure this advice from a G.P ala Stirling rd is incorrect and abusive parents were told smacking is child abuse this is medical advice ?? There are excellent doctors at this surgery.. what would Dr Tyler do ?

Quit poor service. I have high blood pressure. I had an episode with feeling faint and blurred vision. Seen a GP that afternoon, she asked what happened. I explained I have high blood pressure which fluctuates up and down had a situation of feeling faint etc......she not once done my blood pressure, and told me to go and get an eye test. Poor poor GP service. What's it going to take to get to good health

Staff are more than helpful as well as the clinicians (doctors , nurses etc) Can't put them at fault

4/ 5

Staff are more than helpful as well as the clinicians (doctors , nurses etc) Can't put them at fault for anything going on, not their responsibility to pick up and pay the price for the NHS downfall. Always get seen routinely and on the day if needed, people need to stop getting angry at the ones who have no control over things (aka receptionists) they're doing their best and following guidelines that are provided.
