Doctors are ok but it's a constant battle to even get an appointment your usually better or just give up trying to call ! If you have a job you don't have the time to book an appointment as you can be trying for a hour to get through to the waiting list let alone speak to someone and then they say they don't have appointments for 3 weeks ! Really unorganised and poor service leading up to appointments YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR BOOKING SERVICE !!! there is a review 2 years ago where you said you are monitoring this but clearly not ! I also once tried booking an appointment for my daughter who at the time was only 6 months old but got told no appointments for a couple of days which is really bad !

I rarely go to the Doctors unless I really need to. I went this morning as I was assaulted at the weekend and I wanted my injuries to be checked out and recorded. I was refused to be seen by anyone at the practice. I was told it was a Police matter or go to A&E!! I thought we are only supposed to use A&E when really needed and see a GP otherwise?! I've paid into the system all my life. When I needed them I was refused.

Disgraceful way to treat people who have a serious fear of needles by being made to stand in a corridor with many other people queuing behind you. I was told "this is how we do it". Consideration would have been nice. Finally after getting hot and bothered was told I could go in the room to have it. I can't believe this is how it is being done and how patients are treated. Lister house has gone considerably down hill. Can't get appointments, prescriptions etc etc.

5/ 5

I really don't understand all these negative reviews! We have been using Oakwood Medical Centre over the last 5 years, for both of us and our children. Over that period, we were looked after by various different nurses and doctors and not a single time did we have a negative experience. Yes, it may take 20 minutes to get through to them on a busy day but we were always treated politely and received swift appointments. Example today: - called them at 12:30 (with something that needed urgent attention) - GP called back at 2pm - Appointment at 3pm Put yourself into the shoes of these professionals that are now hit by various restrictions and still try to make the best of the situation to look after their patients. Thumbs up from our family!

Nobody answers the phone, a problem discussing the visit. I don't feel safe being looked after by Oakwood Medical Center. I am calling from the morning to book a visit for a child I have over 30 calls no one ever answers !!!!! that's not serious !!!! Incompetence!!!!! doctors and the entire Oakwood Medical Center team don't treat people seriously !!!! you can't get sick here, nobody will help you. Doctors don't know their job, he spreads his arms because he doesn't know. What is this supposed to be ???? A person cannot feel safe in the care of this clinic. There is no possibility to make a visit, if you already have a visit, the doctor does not know about his work !!!!! my child is sick 6 weeks and there is no one to help us. The case will go to court !!!
