I took a minibus of senior citizens in 2017 several came again today, the oldest is 97 everyone enjoyed their day out. Acorns Cafe has good choices from the menu, plenty of tables and seating. Too much to see in one visit so it's looks like I'll be bringing them back later in the year !!

A wonderful day out, full of nostalgia at every turn. Cafe menu is a little basic but at least it is inexpensive. Will be going back in the future as we are sure to have missed something during this visit. Not only is there wheelchair access but they have them available for general use by visitors.

We weren't expecting much....but Oakham is a quiet collection of objects guaranteed to elicit nostalgia. It's definitely geared towards an older audience, but there is plenty to talk to children about whilst giddy with reminiscence. Over 40's will definitely enjoy a few moments. Over 60's will be lost in the past. A great way to lose a few hours for a great price.

What a place, if there isn't something that triggers a memory for you, then your a robot. To be fair even a robot would like the dalik in the cafe. A place that needs multiple visits as you won't see everything first time. Just astounded that I've lived locally and not been before. Staff were great too. Don't think, just visit!
