The venue has a good atmosphere and it's easy to meet people. But the sound quality is not the best.

I had a great time. It is a fun and intimate venue. That being said, there are a couple of improvements that would make this place awesome: 1. The seating is comfortable but arranged in large boxes that are more lounge- like. This means there is no comfortable way to sit in the front most seats while looking at the stage. You have to twist yourself around or sit on your knees the whole time and block the people sitting behind you. 2. The stage is raised by about a foot. So if you are seated, the band is not visible past the people who stand in the pit. If the stage was raised by one more foot, it would be perfect. 3. This one didn't seem to bother others as much but if you are sensitive to light like me, there are a set of white LED panels directly facing the audience and pointed towards their eye level that flash as part of the lighting effects. They are crazy bright and prevented me from watching the band as I had to keep my eyes closed half the time. Obviously these things won't prevent me from coming here again if a band I like is playing there, however, if they were fixed, O2 would be an amazing venue.
