Staff have been nothing short of amazing through the whole process and have always been happy to help and friendly
I booked some private blood tests through the Chesterfield. I found the entire experience a waste of money. I wasn't made to feel welcome, and the staff did not engage at all. The hospital is spotless, and tea/coffee and biscuits are there, but I wasn't told about it. The blood test was over in a flash and I wasn't told anything afterwards, just left to my own instinct to walk out. My results came to me by email and had nothing but figures only a doctor would understand. I was then sent an invoice for additional costs after paying a lot upfront. A total waste of time.
Opened in October 2013 in Bristol, England, Bristol Hospital – The Chesterfield is part of the Nuffield Health private hospital network. Complete with three digital operating rooms and an advanced diagnostic hub, the new facility is the first totally digital hospital in the region. “The innovative equipment used in the high-tech digital theaters will allow surgeons to have complete control over every aspect of their surgery,” explained Nuffield Health. The hospital’s imaging technology is up to the minute, featuring digital mammography, MRI, CT and high-definition endoscopy together with “five-star, state-of-the-art facilities.” According to the Bristol Post, the hospital, which cost $32.74 million to develop, has “[attracted] some of the country’s top consultants – a number of whom are leaders in their field.”

Had ACL ligament op last week. Excellent, faultless service here. Everyone was lovely and so understanding that it was my first operation and that I was very nervous. The patient is put first by all levels of staff. Amazing place.
Absolute shambles of a system. They've lost my prescription in the past and it is almost impossible to get more medicine when I need it. After leaving 3 phone messages (because they never pick up) where they never got back to me and 2 facebook messages which they read and never replied to, I've now been without essential medication for a week. The receptionist's excuse was that they 'receive a lot of messages and it's difficult to get through all of them'. There has to be a better way. I would leave zero stars if I could, but their one redeeming feature is the quality of their GPs. They just need to sort out the administrative and customer service side. I have now had my prescription transferred over to the NHS because I can't deal with Nuffield's chaos anymore.
I've recently had a full hip replacement carried out at Nuffield Health, Clifton Hill, Bristol. A well processed pre op assessment on November 5th, followed up by a successful operation on November 22nd. The surgical team [Richard Baker and Steve Tolchard] and their support teams were excellent and the back up support from the nursing / physio teams was very caring and professional. Well done everyone! Ian Holmes
Just terrible. They don't answer the phone, they dont call you back.. And its supposed to be a private service. AXA is collaborating with them and you give 150 a month. What is the result? Worst service than NHS...
My earlier experience was good but the latest one terrible... I had an appointment which has been moved without asking me for that and as earlier communication was via email and later through phone, changing the time was by a letter only which I looked at briefly and was sure it's confirmation only. Now need to wait another weeks for appointment. Terribly organised
If are you looking for a good feedback just avoid this place as much possible. A big lie about everything.
