Northwood Hills Library london

Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff, lots of books to choose from in both: adults & kids section. Great selection of audiobooks, travel guides, fiction books etc. Some books are in foreign languages. I order my cup of coffee there, read a magazine in peace and quiet surrounding while my child browses throug children's books. Love our library

I used to go to the library,I found it very noisy. I couldn't concentrate .I complained to the staff. however, they didn't do anything about it. My 14 years old daughter got infection when she used library toilet .

The service is consistently excellent up to highest standard My children love to visit routinely the library and enjoy the books borrowed Thank you so much

I am surprised at the negative comments I have read here, concerning the staff of, and the facilities afforded by, Northwood Hills library. Over the years that I have using this library, my praise for the friendly and extremely helpful attitudes of all the staff I have encountered is unstinting. That the library might not be most quiet of places for personal study is probably a reflection of the changing role of libraries in the community, as well as a shift in attitudes to what is considered to be considerate conduct in public spaces. For better or worse, gone are the days of the public library as a forbidding place cloister-like silence and squeaking linoleum.

Visited last summer 2015 when I was in London from USA, great library the stuff were nice and welcoming. Graciously allowed me to use the WiFi since the Internet was not working where I was staying. Thanks again

Very helpful people working there. If they don't have a book in their library then they will be able to get from another within a couple of days. You can also order your recycling bags as well.
