I read other comments, I disagree with those who say the library is dirty. I am here almost every other day, to study, and I find it clean enough. I do not know what silent room looks like, never been in there, but it does look a bit claustrophobic from outside. But I never study there, so I do not care. It is nice to have a silent room though. Staff have always been helpful and I like studying in this library. I like the staff too. I like how UK libraries function like a public living room. :) The open area close to entrance is good enough to study, there is always enough space to accommodate those who want to sit there. Staff are helpful with print outs and any information. I like the feel of this library and toilets are never busy :). (they are not dirty either, except that floor is mostly wet....)

The staffs are not helpful at all! I applied for voluntary job there and they gave me the form to fill in. I was hoping they will contact me but they didn't After a few weeks I went there and asked them. They said we don't take adults for voluntary here it is for young people! Then why they gave me the form at first time! Last summer I tried the voluntary form for my children and I was hoping they will definitely contact for youngsters! But they did Not! I called 3-4 times nearly every week but no body helping me and they were keep saying the guy who is dealing with voluntary is not in... until the summer weeks has gone and my children are back to school... I don't know what on earth they are doing in that library that they cannot help people like me. They just earning money for not helping the community as it should be! They should remove the person who deals with volunteers!

I live very close to this library, the beautiful library is full of rubbish everywhere. Is it so difficult for the staff to take care of their own place of work and clear all of the rubbish?

It could be much better as the order of books, organisation, staff helpfulness, books in different languages, more desks and in general services there are necessary to be upgraded.

Nice library, quiet and clean, good selection of books. I was hoping to spend a few hours studying here today but unfortunately the Covid face mask policy was completely unenforced and not a single library user was wearing one. Decided against staying given the circumstances.

Thought I'd venture in to get a book or use their computers only to find it being used as a covid testing centre. The test was quick and simple to carry out, nothing scarier than an itchy nose to worry about with the results sent via mobile or email. The staff were helpful and light-hearted and sharing a little humour to break the ice was more than enough to make me feel at ease. Reception staff to book you in were efficient, polite and friendly too. All round good experience, let's just hope the next visit is for books and computer use. Thank you guys 😊🙏😊
