Quality product at a fair price. We got installation from them too and the guys couldn't have been more helpful; the surveyor asked poignant questions, the fitters double checked every detail with me before proceeding and as a result I got just what I wanted. As this work included adding an extra window and turning a window into a patio door, our house is really transformed and we love the results. We've used Northern Trade before and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again.

A very disappointing first contact. I received a confirmation call for an arranged appointment and the first question I was asked was if my partner will be with me. After explaining that it will be just me and that this is how we would like to have it the sales person needed to talk to someone to get the ok to visit me alone as they normally just visit married partner together. Few minutes later I received the call back and was told it is fine, but they would just come around once and not again. What business behavior is that someone could think when it comes to an order expected over a few thousand pounds? Well certainly they don't need the business, especially after they even don't bother to come around at all, as the extension has not been completed yet. Thankfully I know that this is not a problem at all for other companies and service wise this company is already disappointing. Good to know that before. In response to the answer from the company. I have actually not missed the fact that it was not even build, please be so kind and read again. It seems you missed something. As the building plans with all measurements are available I wonder why you are the only company so far who is not able to give a quotation on the available measurements? That these might vary a bit once the extension is completed is surely understandable and of course this might effect the prices as well, but I prefer to know before with which company I go. As well I believe it should be normal to accept customer wishes regards who will be available at the meeting, and unfortunately I had to - using your words - insist - as you where not accepting my wish for a few times. Very irritating.

I worked as the service engineer and then service manager in 2019. I noticed the main priority was money over customer satisfaction. Many customers were over sold and promised the Earth. The quality of the products is way inferior to others and the stone age equipment and paranoid attitude surrounding the management made the company unbearable to work for. If you have a repair then you are fine if it's a £1 handle. If it's a more expensive part then expect to wait a very long time.

Thank you for our new grey windows! We was recommended Northern Trade from a few people, really happy from start to finish, quality job. Could not fault from the initial sales visit to installation, the job took a day longer than anticipated but that was explained due to the lintols being needed! Would not hesitate to recommend, very happy. Mr & Mrs Richards

Very poor after care service. Have since found out they have a reputation for this especially in the service department. Very slow in responding, do not call you back and I have now wasted three days off waiting for the problem to be fixed. The third time , yesterday, they didn’t even bother turning up and no phone call. Problem still outstanding. Avoid! Since writing this review the issue has been resolved satisfactorily. The service guy was competent and a good representative of the company. The follow up from both the service department and management shows commitment in putting this company back on track.

I originally gave this company a one star rating due to the lack of communication from a missed appointment on Friday 28 August 2020 I have since had 6 phone calls to sort the problem out But to be fair with them they have been out today bank holiday Monday and sorted the problems out so I have up graded the star rating to four The original fitting and instillation was done in timely manor and on that side I would give them five star but they just need to sort out the communication with other staff members and also with there customers

I can highly recommend Northern Trade Windows as they have recently supplied and fitted me a new porch. All the Team were brilliant they were professional and courteous all the way threw the build.. Thank you..

Just has fascia and soffit done.The fitters mark and rick have done a brilliant job and were very polite.

Recently had a very poor and stressful experience with this company. The sales rep (Martin) came, listened to what we wanted and gave us a quote that we were really happy with for a new porch. We paid a deposit up front and signed believing that we had agreed a price. Later, on the technical survey the surveyor (Phil) said that he thought we had been underquoted and he would have to sign it off with the manager so he could not arrange an installation date. I called the sales rep and asked him what the issue was, he called me back 5 minutes later and said this was sorted. I next received a call from them stating we had been underquoted and that the price would be over £1500 more. I believe this was an underhanded sales tactic designed to reel us into a sale knowingly undercharged in the hope that we would pay the higher price. As a result we have now missed out on getting the work done in our timescales from another company. I would advise caution when dealing with Northern Trade Windows.

Really impressed with the service we received from Northern Trade Windows , from our first phonecall to fitting everything was done promptly and professionally. Our new windows look great , thanks again!
