My dad is currently in this hospital and it’s breaking my heart to see lack of care he is receiving. For every good doctor or nurse here there are 20 despicable staff who do not even know the meaning of care. He has gone from being an independent man who did everything for himself to being a shell who doesn’t even know what day it is. That is within two weeks. NGH shame on you. No more excuses.

Absolutely fantastic care. Emma the nurse was wonderful and thank God for Dr Gavin Boyle, totally brilliant man, so knowledgeable and kind, wicked sense of humour and a fabulous handlebar moustache to boot! Thank you all from reception to diagnosis. Care has been outstanding. Was also easy to park and plenty of vending machines for coffee and food. Thank you all.

I am better of healing myself. Waited 7 hours, do not recomend. Buy yourself a plane ticket and go get treated in Germany it will be faster.

Amazing personel. Every time I have to use their help, I'm more than pleased. It's sad that they are unable to hire more personel to reduce waiting time - but that's beyond their control. Thank You for all your work.

Amazing Hospital, in 2015 i had a eye surgery aged 9 and they did it too tight so in 2018 aged 12 i went back for a 2nd eye operation and it was great thank you Northampton hospital and Disney ward.

This rating applies to the oncology consultant I am currently lumbered with, a chemo nurse and a breast care nurse. I cannot trust them and have been subjected to coercive tactics as they wanted to push me into a treatment plan I was far from happy with. The breast nurse pushed me to breaking point and I had a meltdown in a public place whilst she was on the phone to me, piling on even more pressure. What she wasn't aware of was that I had quickly put my phone on speaker so that people in the vicinity could hear her pressuring me. She is, in my opinion, in the wrong job. The rest of the oncology staff (receptionists, health care assistants and a nursing associate) have been wonderful so it's a shame that I can only give one star because of the behaviour of the consultant, chemo nurse and breast care nurse. It is also a pity that there is no option to give no stars at all. Thanks to the three people aforementioned, I would prefer not to award them any stars at all. I would dearly love to speak to a newspaper reporter about those three people. The consultant, even now, is trying to push me into taking medication that he has, himself, already admitted, in writing, would be dangerous for me. Vile!

Very happy with care in a and e, saw 2 Doctors to confirm serious ailment, very well explained and long prescription given and follow up. Apart from the wait happy. I have been since this appointment, a week later for removal of mole in plastic surgery department. I was looked after extremely well, pain free operation and to cap it all, given tea and biscuits afterwards, a very dedicated department with marvellous doctors and staff, thank you.

Absolutely fantastic service and care from the eye dept at Northampton hospital. Had a cataract done and feel I've got a new eye! Wonderful service. The operation was seamless. Thank you!

Parking is much improved since my last review (1 star) of five years ago. There is a new parking area on the opposite side of the hospital, near to A&E.

My partner was in Sturtridge labor ward to deliver our baby, the midwives were absolutely fantastic! Ellie and Rosie delivered our baby with extreme professionalism and are a safe and reliable pair of hands. After the delivery my partner was moved to Robert Watson ward where once again the staff could not do enough to help her. Overall very satisfied with the service that was delivered. Well done NHS for having such great staff here.
