Great little destination, source of Hobson's Brooke. This nature reserve's well cared for, but not overly so still giving a sense of wild ramble. Count the sources bubbling from the river bed and enjoy time investigating the memorial did at one end. Today, half term in February, some adventurous tooth were enjoying their first pale off the season.

A small nature reserve near Addenbrookes. I love this place where the springs arise where the chalk meets the clay. It's lovely to find some trees here where all around is being developed so fast. Dogs can be walked off lead. Lovely place for kids to play. An oasis of quiet. Access from a path off Granhams Rd or by bike near the DNA path.

Beautiful spot and nature reserve for an afternoon walk. Great to see the Cristal clear water of the spring that feeds Hobson's conduit. Lovely bit of historical content to find out about and great wildlife to observe.

I've been coming to this place since I was a child, despite it being so over grown and uncared for these days, I'm very grateful that the place is still open to the public and it's worth the venture. I've seen many dogs swim in the water there - I wouldn't recommend swimming yourself, but it can be good to help you cool down.
