Stayed with partner and 2 children. The price was great, the facilities were new and clean and thoughtfully and attractively designed. The staff were efficient, warm, friendly and went out of there way to offer help. The food in the adjacent pub was generous and tasted great and the staff were efficient, warm and helpful. My son left his raincoat there and the waitress ran across to the hotel to bring it to us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at either place and we would absolutely stay there and eat there again.

Spacious, recently refurbished room with comfy beds and modern/clean bathroom. A hearty all you can eat breakfast is included, which was a great way to start the day. Quiet location, just a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Shoyoen Japanese Gardens, which is part of the Dubbo Botanic Gardens. The on-site pub was the perfect spot for dinner after a long day exploring. Would recommend to anyone visiting Dubbo for a night or three.

The room was really clean and beautifully decorated. It was lovely and cool to walk into after being outside in that hot weather. It was just right for our family of four with a queen bed and two singles. The beds & pillows were super comfortable. The kids loved it. The food over at the Bistro was delicious and well priced. Great friendly staff too. We also enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast in the mornings. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly.

We originally booked in at a competitor hotel down the road. But checked out due to the poor state of the room and made our way to Nightcap, knowing that it had recently been renovated. Taylor the manager was an absolute legend. She checked us in at late notice and provided a very competitive price. Her customer service was exemplary, along with the other staff that I encountered in the sports bar when I ventured inside to make the most of the complimentary beverage. The room was clean and well presented. Just what we needed after a stressful day. Would highly recommend the Macquarie Inn for anyone looking for a short stay in Dubbo.
