For the price you can't fault it. The rooms are small, the bathrooms small and the decor a little... Worn but it's lovely and clean, reception is friendly and helpful and it's extremely well priced and situated. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in Brighton and won't need more than a room and a bar. If you are in rooms 208 or 209 get ready for a mini Kilimanjaro climb, so much so that they even put the door handles at the bottom of the door as you will be on your knees panting when you eventually get to your room.

Wonderful little place to stay. We brought our small dog too. When compared to the other hotels in the area the price here is very good value for what you get. Very helpful staff. Rooms are pleasant and very tidy. Bathroom is spotless and shower was glimmering clean. 24 hour access with your key if you are enjoying the festivities of the city after midnight. Breakfast was delicious. It is an order to the table service and everything was set up ready on a reserved table especially for you. Cook brings out the food and ensures you have enough toast and beverages. The Hotel is located right next to the sea front and no more than a 5-7 min walk to the main pier if you walk down hill. If you go up the hill and take the first left there are also plenty of places to eat and drink the night away. We were recommended by a friend and will be recommending to others. Thank you for our stay and see you soon.

I cannot fault this place. From the first moment, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they talk with genuine interest about your stay and offer the best room for a great price, I genuinely think you could not stay anywhere thats better value for money than New Steine (We booked the standard double room) Its in a great location as its near the sea front, as you walk out too the right of the hotel you can see the sea! (The pier and shopping centre is about a 15 min walk which is very reasonable) Thank you New Steine for the memories and we look forward too returning year after year
