We had a lovely stay. It's very child-friendly with lots of facilities for kids, but great for adults too. The staff were excellent and accommodating. The spa is beautiful. Would highly recommend.

I recently went there in August with my family (wife and three children) for a late birthday meal for myself, and seeing as we tend to stay in more since covid, I thought we were due a nice day out. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I am mainly writing this review because how above and beyond Adam went for the children, and how glad I was venturing out of the house for the first time in a long time. Great job guys, I will definitely be back soon

This was my 5th visit to New Park Manor. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the lunch was superb. We'd booked a spa day and hoped for a lovely relaxing day. Unfortunately the spa pool was heaving with young children who were jumping in the pool and bombing their parents, most of whom simply allowed them to do what they wanted. Despite clear signs stating no children in the hot tub some parents chose to ignore this. Whilst I appreciate this is a family hotel, the sheer number of children in the spa pool significantly detracted from a relaxing environment. This spa benefits from a beautiful location but to get the most from it, ensure you visit when kids are in school.

5/ 5

We had the most perfect stay at New Park Manor for our second wedding anniversary, with a couple of minor gripes. First the good. The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of the forest, with beautiful walks right on the door step. The food throughout the stay was amazing with great service, and all of the staff we directly dealt with were great. We also made the most of the spa facility and had a perfect relaxing day which included treatments. Although we came as a couple, we were incredibly impressed with how the hotel was set out for both couples/adult groups, as well as families. There are two restaurants, one for families and one for adults only, so if you may have been worried you would be spending your romantic meal with noisy kids, you won't see them at all. The grounds are also great, with little hidden area for couples and families a like. There was a bit of a mess up with the day that we had organised for the spa (we have no idea if it was our fault or the spa), but it was swiftly rectified, so a huge thank you to the team for that. The not so good. Although our room was very spacious, it was incredibly dark. The rooms we stayed in was very tall, and so the small bulb in the light high above our heads made no difference at all to the light level. But, as the room was simply to sleep in I cant say it would put me off coming again. If you are expecting a relaxing day at the spa (the treatments include a full day in the spa area), what isn't made clear is that the pool in this area is for the whole hotel, including the kids. Unfortunately this meant it wasn't the relaxing experience we had hoped for, which was a bit of a shame as it wasn't how it was described to us. Also, a personal conversation between staff about shifts was overheard by us, and probably should have been dealt with privately. Despite the small 'not so goods' we had a lovely stay and would absolutely come back again! The location, staff, food, spa and walks right out of the door make it the perfect hotel to stay in during your stay to the New Forest.
