Three of us had a three course meal yesterday lunch time (Saturday). Staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and the food was lovely. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. The pub is so much nicer now it's changed hands and been refurbished. We all agreed we would recommend it and we will definitely be going back.

We had a meal today after a family funeral. We arrived earlier than expected but were offered a table as soon as we were ready even thou we hadn't booked previously. The staff all gave excellent treatment and the food was 10 out of 10 thanks to the chef. Highly recommended.

Called in on our way back from a stay at the Royal United Hospital Bath so had my first sit down meal. Was made very welcome on arrival and we were allowed to pick a table. The menu was good with plenty of choice. The food was lovely and the service was prompt. Will definitely return.

For this type of chain I was surprised by the quality of food and good condition drink. I had a nice steak and ale pie (on two separate occasions), and also had pints of Abbott Ale. Though Abbott is not typically my first choice ale, these were the best pints of Abbott I've ever had. I can only put that down to the condition that the landlord keeps the ale's in. Will definitely be coming back for more.

We arrived without a booking on a Sunday evening so weren't disappointed when the waiter told us it was a 45min wait for food. We sat and enjoyed the sunset with a drink. The food was gorgeous. Hot plentiful and tasty. We will definitely be back! 2 adults and 2 kids and everybody was happy.
